The WA-9 is a unit that supports input, conversion, and IP transmission between TS (DVB-ASI) and TS over IP (TSoIP / IP-TS).
For IP transmission use, when converting TS to TS over IP, it compresses NULL packets and then restores them on the receiving side, which helps reduce the transmission bit rate.
Configuration can be done via a web browser.

1) Use as a conversion unit (TS ⇔ TS over IP)
The WA-9 supports bidirectional conversion between TS (DVB-ASI) and TS over IP.
Note: Operation is selected as either TS → TS over IP or TS over IP → TS, and the unit is used in a single direction at a time.
2) Use as an IP transmission device for TS
By placing WA-9 units on the transmitting side and the receiving side, you can transmit TS over IP.
In this case, NULL packet compression enables transmission while reducing required bandwidth.
